The "Expression - Impression" series is composed, as its name suggests, of paintings combining facial expressions/impressions with varied artistic expressions. The technique used is basically a charcoal drawing mounted on wood panels with the addition of encaustic wax, which gives the work a unique depth and texture. Pigments and image transfers add contrasting touches that immediately capture the viewer's attention. The scale of the works allows them to fill the space and draw the eye.
